Reiki Demonstration and Symbol Information
Reiki may be offered for others that appear to be in need
But always ask an individual for their permission before proceeding with any Reiki treatment, out of kindness and respect for each individual's rights of privacy.
About a Reiki treatment and its intent
Sometimes individuals are confined to a bed and will not be able to get up and onto a table and may be unable to sit in a chair as well. Each individual is unique, in as far as they may have been in an acute condition for a considerable amount of time. Those trying to bring themselves in better physical, emotional, and/or spiritual balance will find that when the Reiki practitioner assists them, that they will learn from their treatment how to apply some of the Reiki techniques on themselves at times they are in need. It is the obligation of the Reiki practitioner to offer an understanding of the Reiki treatment process to each individual that they assist, for the sole purpose of allowing each individual to know how they can assist themselves at any time, with or without the assistance of the Reiki practitioner.
About Reiki Symbols and their use
Symbols, when used by the Reiki practitioner, offer the opportunity to the receipiant to have energy areas within themselves become amplified and strengthened, during a Reiki treatment, in a way that will last for a longer duration. These symbols come from ancient Tibet and have been researched and interpreted by Dr. Mikao Usi and shown to the Reiki Practitioner how best to apply them within each type of Reiki treatment. In some backgrounds of Reiki, these symbols have been used to radically reduce and sometimes eliminate issues for individuals that may have persisted for years without having any recovery by any other means. A thought, or symbol, when manifested and guided by a Reiki Practitioner can offer an assistance like no other.
